Passionate. Curious. Entrepreneurial. I’m obsessed with storytelling and visual communication – both in my professional life and personally. One of the greatest privileges of my career has been helping some of the biggest brands in the business execute their creative vision through digital media, print and broadcast communications. I’ve worked on brands such as Buick, GMC, Wal-Mart, Ford, CVS, Carhartt, Allegra and more. Over 15+ years in the business, the experience I’ve gained in copywriting, art direction, graphic design, video production and creative thought leadership has taught me to stay humble, stay hungry, and to only doubt the doubters.

2014 – Present

From broadcast to social and everything in-between, I help lead segment-disrupting work for GMC and Buick, as well as other parts of the GM business. These efforts lead to record sales for GMC last year – earning our agency the GM ‘Vendor of the Year’ honor.

SENIOR COPYWRITER at The Mars Agency

2012 – 2014

Collaborated with account and creative teams to develop effective point-of-purchase advertising, interactive microsites, digital promotions, social media campaigns and broadcast communications. Produced award-winning work for brands such as Allegra, CVS, Walmart, Target and more.

COPYWRITER at JWT (Team Detroit)

2010 – 2012

Specializing in Customer Relationship Management, I worked with a diverse team of professionals to develop print ads, digital brand experiences, interactive web banners, direct mail pieces and vehicle catalogues for the Ford Motor Company, The Sports Authority, Carhartt and Scotts.

2009 – 2010

Developed daily plans to drive sales based on goals, build brand equity and grow business. Supervised, coached and reviewed a diverse team of sales associates in order to maintain Buckle’s standard of superior customer service. Responsible for hiring and training team members as well as performing and delegating daily administrative tasks.

Facilitated the promotion of a yearly market research initiative that resulted in a 9% participation increase over the previous year. Coordinated and managed events that resulted in more in-store traffic and increased sales. Assisted marketing director with sales growth initiatives resulting in increased meal plan sales.
